The Idea
Borders are often viewed as decision making
entities, those that have set lives in a mode of difference and have created
territories. At the same time borders have also created
a space within themselves, encompassing ideas and a way of life of its own.
Borders in particular areas have given rise to a particular conditioning of
that place, and now there are attempts go to break barriers and go beyond these
boundaries to get a better understanding of human existence.
There have been many attempts to image/re-image the border, through photography, videos ( leading to advertisements) and graphics.
This blog will take you through some of these attempts because an understanding of what the “border” is with respect to the
“body- not specifically human, but other elements such as nature, culture,
history and event is not only important but essential in the world globalization.
